MEET KATE | THE MAKER
I’m an energetic, upbeat small town girl from Maryland’s Eastern Shore who has a love for all things creative! My social calendar is a huge focal point in my life and always has been; I can always think of a reason to celebrate- which is probably why I love invitations so much.
My days start with dry shampoo and coffee and often end with a glass (or two) of red wine. I go for salty over sweet, back roads over city streets. I’m organized chaos to a tee. My husband Jamie, who was my high school sweetheart, and children, Stella(2 years) and Bo(2 months), and our beautiful Golden Retriever, Lacie, make me whole.
Our home is always crazy but fun. My family gives me the support and inspiration to do what I love, and for that, I’m thankful.

Stella Kate is a company that I created to represent a piece of me that I love.
It wasn’t until planning our wedding several years ago that I realized this was something I needed to do in life. The invitations, the place cards, and even the numbers on the tables were all things that I loved collaborating on during my engagement!! I then thought why not make this something that I can continue doing? So I took a leap of faith, listened to a couple “girl boss” books to and from work for inspiration and here we are!
I want to be your go-to girl for anything from a personal greeting card to stationary to invitations and more! The excitement that comes from clients while planning anything from a first birthday to a 300 person wedding puts a smile on my face and that’s
why I created Stella Kate!

I heard about Kate through a friend who had purchased her own wedding invitations through her. She designs them specifically to your style and theme of the event.
